Are you allergic to latex? Avoid yoga mat that is made up of natural rubber. PVC mats are more sponge as compared to jute and cotton.
3) Eco-friendliness Mat
These mats are made up of natural and recycled rubber and may also include natural material such as organic cotton or jute.
Avoid yoga mats made up of PVC if eco-friendliness is important to you. Eco- friendly mats tend to be thicker and slicker than PVC yoga mat. As there are many options available in the market so you can get a mat that is eco-friendly has thickness, texture and is comfortable and portable.
4) Price Range
Basic 3mm thick PVC yoga mat with solid colour will be towards low-end price range. But if you go for a pattern, design, logo than you have to pay more for it. Eco-friendly mat tends to be the high end of the price range.
